The Moncton Museum's mission is to collect, conserve, study, exhibit and interpret historic and heritage material of Moncton and the surrounding area. The Museum explores and showcases many facets of Moncton's history through a variety of mediums: its permanent collection, temporary and travelling exhibits, research library and educational programs.

Fundy National Park

Fundy National Park of Canada encompasses some of the last remaining wilderness in southern New Brunswick. Here, the conifer dominated Caledonia Highlands roll down to meet the fog-generating Bay of Fundy. The tidal fluctuation of the Bay of Fundy is the highest in the world. Watch fishing boats come and go to the rhythm of the bay. Inland, explore lush forests and deep stream valleys.

Moncton Coliseum

The Moncton Coliseum Complex is Atlantic Canada's top entertainment and trade show facility, with a drawing power of 1.4 million people within a three hour drive. Moncton attracts the best international shows, sporting events, concert performances and trade shows.

Magnetic Hill Zoo

The Zoo offers a diverse collection of animals from every corner of the world, including lemurs from Madagascar, gibbon apes, tigers and lion-tailed macaques from Asia, reeves muntjacs from China, lions and zebras from Africa, reindeer from Lappland and much, much more. Pet one of the many goats and other animals in Old MacDonald's Barnyard. Weekdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekends 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Why waste time in the car when you could be on the course? We're only 5 minutes from downtown Moncton. The Moncton Golf & Country Club is located on the south side of the Petitcodiac River, across from the central core of Moncton. Magic Mountain Water Park

We invite you to explore the many attractions we offer. General admission charge covers unlimited use of all water attractions all day. Miniature golf is extra. Lockers are available at a cost of two dollars along with a refundable two dollar deposit. All water attractions are supervised by Nationally Certified Lifeguards.

In 2002, a NEW tube slide named the TORNADO opened. It is an enclosed tube slide that is almost 400 feet in length, and offers a thrilling "dark" ride experience!

Those under 48" are not permitted on the Tornado.

Jump in a tube and take a break while the current carries you 1/4 of a mile around the replica of a nineteenth century steamship.

Kamikaze
For the true daredevil, try out the Kamikaze and divebomb at 60 kilometers an hour!
The exciting Kamikaze Speed Slide allows the more daring patrons to drop over 100 feet at speeds over 60 km per hour.

For the less daring, shoot down the Bullet.

The Wave Pool
The wave pool has the capacity to produce eight different waves of up to five or six feet high. Waves are produced by a computerized low pressure air system whereby the wave structure originates at the deep end of the pool in specialized water chambers.
The wave pool is capable of generating 5 to 6 foot waves, with 8 different wave patterns. It holds over 330,000 gallons of clean, filtered water.

Pier 36 Miniature Golf offers two exciting 18 hole courses amidst water fountains, waterfalls and scenes. The holes have many interesting themes including models of a Victorian house, windmill, lighthouse, sawmill, and saloon. There are also four waterfalls and over 300 coloured lights around the course, making a pleasant and romantic atmosphere for a fun evening activity.

Our arcade is packed with the latest video games. Try out popular selections like After Burner, Whack the Gator, Jackpot, Cyclone, Pinball, Air Hockey, and Skee Ball. Collect tickets to redeem for great prizes! The Arcade is open from 10am until 10pm all season. It is coin operated.

Slide down one of the four kiddie slides or simply wade in the Puddle Jumpers Pond with Gizmo the Frog, Pinky the Whale, and our Magic Mushroom.

Splashpad
In 2003, a childrens Splashpad by Vortextm was added to Magic Mountain. Refreshing water sprays in all directions from a whale, boat and lighthouse.

Tim Horton 4 Centre Ice

The Tim Hortons 4 Ice Centre Glaces not only houses 4 NHL size rinks (2 on either side of a center area of dressing rooms) but offers a retail element, Tim Hortons and an upstairs restaurant and licensed bar (Slapshots Sports Bar & Grill) with great viewing/dining from which you can see ALL four rinks. The facility provides all Monctonians with new, modern fields and a central area for soccer, football and baseball players and their families. Tidal Bore

A scenic phenomenon caused by the surging Bay of Fundy tides, the highest in the world, the Bore occurs twice daily. The higher waters in the Bay cause the water in the placid Petitcodiac River to roll back upstream in one wave, which can range in height from 3 to 60 cm. Just as spectacular is the rapid and dramatic change in the river itself. At low tide the muddy river bottom is often visible, but within an hour of the arrival of the Bore, the water level rises some 7.5 metres (25') to fill the river to its banks. The Tidal Bore can be observed from many places around Greater Moncton, whether it be from Dieppe, Moncton or Riverview.
